[NENA] Proposed By-Law Amendments

Thank you for the update on the by-law changes; however, Article VIII Executive Committee needs to be deleted because we have proposed deletion of the Executive Committee under Article IX since there is no real need for one.

Second, Article X needs changed.   You cannot specify dues paying members are the only ones to put anything on the agenda.   And any business can be brought up under New Business.   Therefore, that addition should really be striken.   And changes to the agenda should be allowed at any time prior to meeting.

Attached are the proposed bylaw amendments to be discussed and voted on at the Special Meeting scheduled for October 28 at 7:00 PM at Fire Station 20. Please feel free to comment ( reply to all) but more importantly, please attend the Special Meeting to discuss and vote.
We will attempt to get these posted the NENA website as soon as possible.
Additionally, we are attempting to re-schedule the Annual (General) Meeting as it currently coincides with Election night. As soon as the next available date is reserved at the Fire station, a notice will be sent to all on the distribution list.
