Dear Friends,
Why should we have to pay Comcast for such objectionable television programming such as MTV, FX, and similar channels just in order to get family programming such as Nickelodeon, Disney or any of the other decent, entertaining and informative Cable Channels? Sign on to the letter in support of freedom to choose from among cable channels offered, instead of companies forcing "packages" of channels on families which include such objectionable content. Freedom to choose is referred to as "a la carte cable" offerings. Please write and copy all your representative. Legislation is pending in congress. Also, go to the "Parents Television Council" web site for more info, and to lend your voice to a host of similar issues affecting families and children.
For your convenience I've included below a draft letter you can edit with your own words and send to your representatives regarding this issue.
Thanks, Keith
