[NENA] April Newsletter and upcoming events

NENA Neighbors:

Attached please find a copy of the April newsletter. The intent was to have this printed and mailed prior to this weekend but that did not happen. Consider this your advance copy as I still hope to have hard copies mailed in the near future. 
The reason for the advance copy is some timely information regarding upcoming events. 
The NENA Spring Cleanup will be the same day as the Mayor's Spring Cleanup - THIS Saturday, April 25, 2009, 9 am to Noon. Plastic trash bags will be available at the intersection of Oakland and Wyoming, while supplies last. An open top dumpster will be placed on Oakland at Wyoming or a city waste truck will be available to remove collected bags placed on Oakland at Wyoming. Please pull weeds and rake leaves in the medians and behind your privacy fence near your residence and transport the bags to Oakland at Wyoming to the open top dumpster or for pickup by the city waste truck. Please, no concrete, appliances, mattresses, or large items! Please do your part to make the neighborhood look it's best! For questions, please contact Teresa at 505-934-2599. 

The Annual NENA Garage Sale will be Saturday May 2. The Association will be running ads in the newspaper so please take advantage of this opportunity. 

The next General Meeting will be held June 2. 

Please pass this information along to your neighbors that may not be on this email distribution and tell them to check the website as I hope to have the newsletter posted there soon.
