Subject: U.S. Rep. Martin Heinrich to Host Economic Recovery and Jobs Resource Fair and Town Hall, Wednesday, February 18th, 5:30PM to 8:00PM at the Alamosa Community Center
U.S. Representative Martin Heinrich ran for Congress because he saw just how much working families were hurting due to misguided economic policies of the past. In just a few short weeks, he is already taking concrete steps to turn our economy around. Last week Representative Heinrich voted for the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act because it will deliver tangible results for our constituents, including saving 16,000 jobs in New Mexico and investing in schools, transportation, and renewable energy in our district.
This week, the Representative would like to invite you to an Economic Recovery and Jobs Resource Fair and Town Hall on Wednesday, February 18th, 2009, from 5:30PM to 8:00PM at the Alamosa Community Center, 6900 Gonzales SW (Coors and Bridge) Albuquerque, NM 87121. To RSVP, or for more information, please call the Albuquerque district office at 505-346-6781.
5:30 to 6:30PM
Economic Recovery and Jobs Resource Fair
Hiring companies, federal agencies and local economic resource organizations will be on-hand to provide New Mexico's First Congressional District constituents with guidance on accessing the support necessary to help our community weather the economic downturn. Invited organizations include local economic development specialists, chambers of commerce, small business administrators, job training officials, business incubators, and unemployment benefits representatives.
6:30 to 8:00PM
Town Hall Meeting
Join U.S. Representative Martin Heinrich and local elected and business leaders for a roundtable town hall meeting focusing on the federal Economic Recovery and Jobs Package and how it will make a difference for New Mexico's First Congressional District.

· Albuquerque Mayor Martin Chávez
· Bernalillo County Commission Chair Deanna Archuleta
· NM State Secretary of Economic Development Fred Mondragón
