                                                      BRIEF MINUTES OF THE 10/21/09 D4 
                                           COALITION OF NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATIONS MEETING

The meeting was briefer than usual as the guest speaker could not attend. The Secretary summarized a letter from Roger Mickelson warning residents to not provide more information than required in the upcoming census as fraudulent "census takers" are anticipated.

NA members are requested to report drunk drivers using DWI #394

D4 member Judi Pellegrino's husband has been diagnosed with a serious case of Prostate Cancer.  A condolence card signed by all D4 reps. will be sent.

Brad Winter reported briefly on the recent Mayoral and City Council elections and ongoing transition activity.  He also noted that the Council has undertaken review of the I-25 Sector Plan, and deferred action for 2 weeks while Councilor O'Malley resolves some questions.  D4 voted to request Brad to see if the new administration would consider independent status for the Office of Neighborhood Coordination.

D4 discussed concerns regarding the post election possible loss of key Administration personnel who have been of singular support to D4.  A letter will be sent from D4 thru Brad requesting the new Mayor to consider retaining Ed Adams and Colleen Frenz.

D4 Coalition Annual Social event will be held in December.  Diana T. and Brad will make all arrangements and fund the affair.  All NAs are invited and will be notified of time and place.

A nominating committee was approved to solicit volunteers for D4 Office for 2010.

Bambi Folk noted that Neighborhood Crime Statistics are available on the City's Website
