[NENA] Break-in

Just wanted everyone to get the word out that we had a house on S. 
Sandoval St NE broken into on Friday, Feb 12 between the hours of 12 
and 2:30pm.  They pried the front door open with a crowbar.  It was not 
my house.

Two days prior, I had a woman knock on my door around that same time, 
carrying an empty manilla envelope, asking to read me a poem and asking 
me for money.  My next door neighbor said she had been by his house 
about a month earlier trying to read him a poem.  My guess is she was 
staking out the neighborhood to see who was home during the afternoon.

Police also mentioned that criminals will watch for people pulling out 
of an empty garage.

Be extra vigilant and don't hesitate to call the police if you see 
anything out of the ordinary or anyone similar comes to your door.
